Refunds and cancellations
Terms for deposits, cancellations, and rescheduling of AP testing engagements.
Eligibility
Fees paid for professional engagements may be refundable according to the timing of cancellation and the work already performed. This policy applies to accounts payable testing and related engagements booked with AppSync Solutions. It does not cover products we do not sell.
Deposits
When a deposit reserves a close window or named kickoff week, it is credited toward the final invoice. Deposits become non-refundable once fieldwork has started or once we have declined other work for your reserved dates, as stated in the engagement letter.
Cancellation by the client
- More than 14 days before kickoff: full refund of amounts paid, minus any documented third-party costs already incurred with your approval.
- 7–14 days before kickoff: 50% of the deposit may be retained; remaining prepaid fees are refunded.
- Fewer than 7 days before kickoff: deposit is non-refundable; unused prepaid fees for work not started may be discussed case by case.
Work already started
If scoping, extract review, or sampling has begun, fees for completed stages are due. Unused later stages may be refunded or credited toward a rescheduled engagement within six months.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule once without penalty if you give at least 10 days’ notice and a mutually available window exists within three months. Later or repeated reschedules may incur a scheduling fee stated in writing.
No-shows and access delays
If scheduled on-site days are missed because required contacts or system access are unavailable, those days remain chargeable unless we agree in writing to reallocate them.
Refund process and timing
Email hello@appsyncsolutions.digital with your engagement reference and reason. Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method where possible.
Exceptions
Engagement letters may set different terms for multi-entity or rush year-end work. Where the letter and this page differ, the signed letter controls.
